The American golfer Doug Sanders, on Sunday, in Houston, Texas, usa, at age 86, has died. The best in the PGA.
From 1956 to 1972, and won a He of twenty tournaments on the American PGA Tour, and in 1967, when he won with the U.s. team for the home crowd in Houston, texas for the Ryder Cup. In each of the four majors, he finished it at least once in the top ten, but it won’t be one. Four times he was second at the PGA Championship in 1959, the U.S. Open in 1961, and the British Open in 1966 and in the 1970’s. At the British Open, he came out in the 1970s very close to winning, but missed out on the last hole with a putt of 90 cm, at which time he is in an extra round of 18 holes with a one stroke difference, the cup was put to his fellow-countryman, Jack Nicklaus. “I missed a putt from 30 inches on the final green, and everyone is talking only about that. I took twenty of the tournament, but everyone will remember only the one that I lost”, commented that He is on his career path back in. “I take it you do not look ill. I’m I the only one putt.”
He was also well-known for his flamboyant dress sense. It earned him the nickname “The Peacock of the Fairways” on it. With his colorful wardrobe, heard of less than 359 pairs of shoes. “At the time, were two of the most frequently asked questions on the tour: “What’s the score, Arnold Palmer, and What does He He have to?’, told me that He is in a 2007 Golf Digest.
