In a press-service “the First channel” confirmed the expulsion of a correspondent from Belarus and withdrawal of accreditation of the entire crew of the TV channel, calling the actions of the Belarusian authorities is totally unfounded.
“we Reiterate expel our correspondent and withdrawal of accreditation the whole team. Consider these actions of the Belarusian authorities absolutely groundless”, – quotes the message a press-services “the First channel” TASS reported.
Previously the foreign Ministry of Belarus has deprived of accreditation of film crew of the Russian “First channel” after story about the situation in the Republic with the coronavirus. The Department argued that “the decision was made in connection with the dissemination of information not corresponding to reality.”
We will remind, in April the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has criticized the Russian media for their coverage of the suppression of coronavirus in the country. He also said the “special way” of Belarus in the fight against coronavirus. As a result, by the end of April, Belarus has become the champion for the coronavirus among Russia’s neighbors.
