International and defence committees of the Federation Council at a joint meeting on April 29 will discuss two projects appeals chamber, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory, told RIA Novosti on Wednesday the head of the Committee for international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev.
In the action plan of the Federation Council to the 75th anniversary of the Victory refers to the preparation of the “appeal to the parliaments and peoples of the world about the inadmissibility of falsification of history of the Second world war and the rehabilitation of Nazism”.
“the Committees on international Affairs and on defence and security at a joint meeting on April 29 videoconference will discuss two draft appeal of the Federation Council, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory”, – said Kosachev.
Documents are under preparation and will be considered by the Federation Council at the next plenary session, said Kosachev.
Earlier, Federation Council speaker Valentina Matviyenko reported that the senators will meet on may 20.
