Member of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs, Senator from Crimea Sergey Tsekov appreciated the national defense strategy of Romania for the years 2020-2024. In one of its sections says that the growing military potential of Russia creates serious challenges.
Tsekov, commenting on this document, RT, notes that Russia called a “hostile state”, but actually, if you look at the long history, quite the opposite. What Romania has always been hostile to Russia, the Senator said, stressing that the actions of our country are purely of a defensive nature.
the Supreme Council of defence of Romania has approved a new strategy. But it will take effect only in the case if it was supported by both chambers of the Parliament of the Republic.
