Domestic drug for the treatment of coronavirus “Aviewer” will go to the Russian hospital on June 11. However, his research will continue until the end of the summer. This was announced by the Russian direct investment Fund (RDIF), which is working on a cure together with a group of companies “Chemrar”.
“Presumably, he will go to the Russian hospital 11 Jun 2020. The drug will be sold under contracts with health facilities will not be available for sale. It will be administered only in hospitals, to be applied under the supervision of doctors,” reports “Izvestia” the words of the representatives of the FUND.
The developers say that the efficacy of a drug is higher than 80%. “Aviewer” made from Russian raw materials, however, its basis — substance “Favipiravir”, was developed in Japan. The drug reduced the period of the disease in trial participants for up to four days instead of nine with standard therapy. At this stage of treatment 65% of patients taking the “Avidavit”, had tested negative for the coronavirus. To 10 day the number of patients with negative test reached 90%. At the moment already produced 18 thousand packages of drugs. In June, the hospital will supply 60 thousand packages.

Investments in the development and production of “Avifauna” account for more than half a billion rubles, approximately half of which is public money.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation has officially approved the first Russian remedy against coronavirus. The drug is called “Aviewer” included in the state register of medicines. During testing of the drug revealed no new side effects.
