European architectural award founded by magazine The Plan. This publication is for designers, scholars and students, leading developments in the field of architecture and construction. The jury consists of international experts in this field: wink Dubbeldam, Margherita Guccione, Valerio Paolo Mosco, Raymund Ryan, Maurizio Sabini and other architects. The prize is awarded in 22 categories.
the renovated building “Digital business space” on Pokrovka street, known to Muscovites as the former Central house of entrepreneur, interested in the European jury for its led facade that changes color due to the light cladding with concrete. It is made based on high strength cement and marble chips with the addition of thousands of fiber optic strands.
For the victory in the category Renovation “Digital business space” will fight about 50 architectural objects from around the world. Among them, the project Studio Atelier Tao+C, which turned the old rammed-earth construction in capsule boutique hotel with a library, and the work of the Duo Neri & Hu Junshan Cultural Center is a building in the shape of a donut, converted into a cultural center of the two-story shopping center.
“the Digital business space” was one of five architectural projects that have been included in the shortlist of the award Plan The Award. In the category of Public Space (Public space) Moscow will present the Zaryadye Park. Russian finalists of the award also become the capital’s business center “Iskra-Park”, the town hall in the administrative and business district Nevskaya Ratusha in St. Petersburg and multi-residential complex Brusnizin in the city Berezovsky, Sverdlovsk region.
