the Head of Rospotrebnadzor Alla Popova said that the Department will give the countries of the Eurasian economic Union test-system for detection of coronavirus, reports TASS.
She said this at a meeting of the intergovernmental Council of the organization. Popov noted that with their help, planned to hold more than 50 thousand studies against infections COVID-19.
“Russia is assisting the countries of the Eurasian Union, as well as partners from Moldova, a certain amount of cooperation”, – said Popov.
She recalled that earlier States of the EAEU passed a test system for carrying out more than 60 thousands of studies. She stressed that Russia is ready to support its partners.
Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor reported that 162 thousand people in Russia are currently under medical observation in connection with suspected infection with coronavirus. Sergei Sobyanin said that the city is holding about 15 thousand rapid tests per day.
Also the Deputy head of Rospotrebnadzor Vyacheslav Smolensky pointed out that for detection of coronavirus enough one properly conducted test. With regard to the discharge of the patient, to confirm his recovery double-take the test with a negative result.
Russia continues to provide assistance to other countries in the fight against the pandemic coronavirus. Thus, the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is helping Belarus to cope with the spread COVID-19. Planes with medical equipment and specialists flew to the USA, Italy and Serbia.
In Russia in recent days has registered 1786 cases of infection with coronavirus. Only on the territory of the Russian Federation has recorded 11 917 patients as a result of falling COVID-19 in the body.
