The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Germany has summoned the Ambassador of China because of the situation in Hong Kong, reported the press service of the German foreign Ministry.

The Federal government together with its EU partners, has expressed a number of concerns that the law will seriously undermine the extensive autonomy of Hong Kong and will adversely affect the independence of the judiciary and the rule of law”, – quotes the press service, RIA “Novosti”.
June 30, Chinese President XI Jinping signed the law on national security in Hong Kong. The document is aimed at combating the threats of terrorism, separatism, undermine state power and collusion with foreign forces. The legal act provides life imprisonment as the maximum punishment, the establishment in Hong Kong of the security agencies with broad powers, the possibility of investigation of the cases in mainland China.
