The bioplato zone will appear this year on the Konkovo-Derevlevo Nizhny Pond. It is also planned to create a hydro-mechanical site on the South-West pond No. 3 in the Southern Federal District.
Bioplato is a living filter with special aquatic plants. The creation of such sites is an important element of the beautification of decorative reservoirs. Planted aquatic plants contribute to improving the ecological balance of ponds and rivers. Also, bioplato zones form favorable conditions for nesting of waterfowl.
In total, this year the work will be carried out on 11 reservoirs in different districts of the capital, where 21 bioplatto zones will be created.
