As stated on the website of the theatre, he died Thursday, April 9, on 70-m to year of life after long illness.
In the theater expressed condolences to the families and friends of the artist. The time and place of farewell will be announced at a later date.
Komarov served in the Russian army Theatre since 1972. He went to the part of military mentoring teams in the Western group of forces, as well as in Afghanistan and Chechnya.
He accompanied many artists of the theater and played in performances “the Barber of Seville”, “the good soldier Svejk”, “We – the Russian people” and others.
