The Londoners should be happy about this deal: Tottenham Hotspur signs Ivan Perišić. He is leaving Inter Milan on a free transfer in the summer.

From Italy to England: Ivan Perišić is moving from Inter Milan to Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer, as “Transfermarkt” reports. The 33-year-old is now under contract with the Premier League club until 2024.

Clear words against Milan: Inter had initially urged Perišić to extend his contract, especially coach Simone Inzaghi. However, the club had been slow in coming up with an offer, which the winger has a clear opinion on: “That’s not how you treat important players.”

Reunited: Just a few months before Perišić, former Inter coach Antonio Conte had joined Tottenham. He had dreamed of a change from the Croatian national player early on and was therefore free to sign up, as transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims to “The Guardian”.
