Hans-Joachim Watzke thinks it is possible to sell Youssoufa Moukoko. The contract negotiations are decisive for a possible transfer of the youngster.
Clear words from the former sports director: Hans-Joachim Watzke believes that Youssoufa Moukoko can be sold this summer if the talent does not extend his contract. “If a player is not ready [to extend], then as a club you have the obligation to sell him.” Watzke said in an interview with the WAZ, about which “sportbuzzer.de” reports.
Sturm talent is dissatisfied: Moukoko is not satisfied with his playing times at Dortmund. His advisor is therefore skeptical about a contract extension: “It is not a matter of course that Youssoufa extends BVB.” Moukoko’s contract runs until 2023.
New coach as an ace up his sleeve: One factor could be the deciding factor in an extension. Edin Terzic, Dortmund’s new head coach, has a very good relationship with Moukoko. The two know each other from the time when Terzic was youth coach at BVB.
