According to “Sky”, there was a “proper, very valuable conversation”, but without a solution.

Bayern remains steadfast: Salihamidzic reiterates in “Sport Bild”: “Robert has a contract until the summer of 2023.” Even an even higher offer from FC Barcelona will not change his position: “I’m not dealing with that.” And: “Me Expect to see Robert on July 12 for training on Säbener Straße.”
What will become of Gnabry? According to Salihamidzic, the commitment of Sadio Mané, the possible Lewandowski replacement, should not have any effect on a troubled Serge Gnabry, but “we don’t really want to go into the last year of the contract with him without hearing from him that he wants to stay”. He does not want to create pressure, but “from the club’s point of view it is only fair if a player does not want to extend it that we talk about how we can solve this situation satisfactorily for everyone involved”.
