the Russian Government has approved a discount of 50% on tickets in a compartment of double-Decker trains for children older than 10 years. This decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
a Reduced rate, as explained in the press service of the Cabinet, will apply to students and pupils of educational institutions during the school year: 1 January to 31 may and from 1 September to 31 December.
earlier this discount is given for travel in the General and couchette cars long-distance trains.
the decision will increase the availability of travel by rail, according to the Cabinet.
