Despite headwinds, the German economy grew more strongly than initially assumed in the summer.
The gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.4 percent in the third quarter compared to the previous quarter, as the Federal Statistical Office announced on Friday. In a first estimate, the Wiesbaden authority assumed growth in economic output of 0.3 percent.
