Borussia Dortmund has apparently struck gold in the search for a successor to Erling Haaland. It should be Sébastian Haller and the ex-Frankfurter should be very interested in BVB.

Haller wants to join BVB: Borussia Dortmund is apparently about to sign Sébastian Haller from Ajax Amsterdam. As the “Bild” reports, the 27-year-old striker definitely wants to join BVB and thus return to the Bundesliga. In a year and a half he played 65 games for the Dutch and scored a whopping 47 goals.

Short, compact, clear

Poker for the transfer fee: Ajax want to have Haller’s loss paid for princely, should demand a transfer fee of 38 million euros plus bonus payments. BVB is said to want to offer five million euros less in fixed costs. Poker should therefore drag on a little longer. The Ivory Coast player’s contract runs until 2024.

Return to the Bundesliga? Haller switched from FC Utrecht to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga for 12 million euros in the summer of 2017 and won the 2018 DFB Cup with the Hessians. In 2019 he left Eintracht for West Ham United for 50 million euros, in January 2021 he then joined Ajax for 22.5 million euros.
