The trailer for Strange Way of Life was released on Wednesday morning ahead of its Cannes Film Festival premiere next month.
The short film, in English, by Pedro Almodóvar stars Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke.
The Spanish director called his film a “queer western” in a chat with singer Dua Lipa during the recording of his At Your Service podcast.
The synopsis states that Pedro Pascal’s character, Silva, visits his friend Sheriff Jake, played by Ethan Hawke, 25 years after they last met. However, he didn’t want to see him again just to recall old memories.
