Sasa Kalajdzic still plays for VfB Stuttgart, but Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern are particularly interested in the Austrian international. The Borussia seem to have good cards, mainly because of two aspects.
Start of conversation fixed: Where will Sasa Kalajdzic (24) play in the coming season? It is unlikely that the Austrian will stay in Stuttgart, but Borussia Dortmund is now taking a concrete position. According to “Bild”, concrete talks with the striker should take place from June 20th, i.e. after the Nations League and vacation.
Short, compact, clear
Advantage Dortmund? FC Bayern should also be interested in Kalajdzic, who would then be planned as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who was willing to emigrate. Since a joker role behind the Pole in Munich is out of the question for the Stuttgarter, the hanging game between Lewandowski and the Munich team could play into BVB’s cards.
VfB is still hoping: In Stuttgart they want to extend the contract with the striker. VfB CEO Alexander Wehrle recently spoke on “Sky” of “a very good dialogue with Sasa and his advisor”. But if Kalajdzic wants to leave, “then we’ll talk about a significant transfer fee.” There are 25 million euros in the room.
