Moscow authorities until the end of the 2020 plan to run the 25 km of metro lines. This was announced by the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin during the inspection of construction in the Nagatinsky Zaton district of the station “Maple Boulevard” Great circle line (BKL), which on may 5 was started the drilling of double-track tunnel in the direction of the station “Kashirskaya”.
“Despite all the restrictions, the construction of the metro did not stop. During this entire period of time was running about 14 km of metro lines. Until the end of the year we plan to run just 25 km away from Big building, a large number of people, a large number of equipment. Metro stop is impossible due to the fact that it is a continuous process. And this is a major construction project for Moscow and Muscovites. Eastern section of BKL is about 11 km away. Most will be laid in a single track performed by 10-foot shield,” – said Sobyanin.
He added that 5 may was started the drilling of double-track tunnel from the station “Maple Boulevard” in the direction of the station “Kashira”, and the boring of the leads tunnel complex “Victory”. “Here’s a shield with a symbolic name “Victory” was made by Russian and Chinese engineers, manufactured in China and imported through the Northern sea route in St. Petersburg, arrived in Moscow, was assembled, and on may 5 launched,” said the mayor.
He also reminded about the necessity to observe at construction sites all sanitary requirements. “From this day allowed the construction of all facilities in Moscow, but with the requirement of strict compliance with sanitary norms and rules”, – said Sobyanin.
As reported in the press service of the municipality, currently at the facilities of metro are employed of 13.6 thousand people. Organizations take all necessary measures to protect the health of workers and prevention of coronavirus. All employees have their temperature taken at the entrance to the facility and during the working day. Employees with fever and signs of SARS are suspended from work.
Employees are issued disposable masks and means for processing of hands. In addition, all air disinfection using UV irradiation, wet cleaning using disinfectants.
The construction of the Eastern section of BKL a subway with four stations, “Maple Avenue”, “Nagatinsky Zaton”, “Printers” and “textile workers” was launched in 2017. Section total length is 11.4 km, Trains will run in a large double-track tunnel with a diameter of 10 m.
Currently, the penetration of 1.45 km double-track tunnel from the station “Maple Boulevard” in the direction of the station “Kashirskaya” – up to site No. 2, where a large tunnel will be docked with two traditional single-track tunnels with a diameter of 6 m. to Complete the excavation is planned for October 2020.
In materials it is noted that in ��proektirovanii station “Maple Boulevard” was taken into account the close proximity to the Museum-reserve “Kolomenskoye”, in whose territory the Church of the ascension is one of the three memorials that are included in the list of world heritage of UNESCO. In this regard, the specialists lay a task to minimize the influence of metro on the territory of the Museum-reserve. In the end, tracing the line selected to station “Maple Boulevard” was located outside the Park, and the tunnels passed under that territory, where a valuable heritage objects. To complete the construction of the station “Maple Boulevard” and the Eastern section of BKL from “Kashirskaya” to “Nizhny Novgorod” is planned before the end of 2022. It is expected that the opening of the stations will improve the transport service of inhabitants of Nagatinsky Creek, Pechatniki, Tekstilshchiki, Nizhny Novgorod, Lefortovo, with a population of over 450 thousand people. Their time spent on a trip to the city will be reduced to 10-15 minutes.
