The trial of a murder in the rocker milieu began on Tuesday in the Duisburg district court. The accused – six men from the motorcycle club “Hells Angels” – are said to have brutally murdered a fellow rocker in January 2014. The alleged perpetrators did not comment in court.

The process, which took place under police protection, probably made even experienced judges uncomfortable. The sequence of events reads like a scene from a horror film. The accused are accused of carrying out a deadly punitive action on a member of their own ranks.

According to the indictment, the victim was shot in a car trailer in Mönchengladbach in 2014 and then brutally dismembered.

But that’s not all: the body parts were then stowed in food barrels, poured with concrete and sunk in the Rhine and other bodies of water. The police later discovered individual body parts and were able to reconstruct the case.

According to the prosecution, it was a brutal demonstration of power in their own ranks: “The killing served to eliminate a traitor and thus to consolidate the position of power of the “Hells Angels”, according to the judiciary.

The trial also dealt with an attempted murder of a member of the enemy “Bandidos”. The victim survived the attack. The charges include attempted murder, murder and perjury. The defendants did not testify in court.
