Tunnel shield “Victory” with a diameter of 10 meters has begun work on the Eastern section of the Great circle line. This was reported by Deputy Moscow mayor for urban policy and the construction of Andrey Bochkarev.
“This is the fourth shield-giant, involved in the construction of double-track tunnel of a Large ring of the metro. Now on the Eastern section of BKL is already working shield-giant “Victoria”, and on the West are excavating two ten-complex “Lily” and “Hope”, – said Andrey Bochkarev.
Despite the difficult epidemiological situation in the world and, as a consequence, the lack of specialists in the area, the shield was assembled in 35 days. Today he starts on schedule. “And it really is a victory”, – said the head of the Moscow construction complex.
