No help for Germany? According to information from “Welt”, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Poland do not want to conclude any agreements with Germany on mutual gas supplies in emergency situations. Corresponding agreements have so far only existed with Denmark and Austria. In view of the current situation, this is “problematic”.
Violated EU legislation? A report by the Ministry of Economic Affairs for the Bundestag Committee on Climate Protection and Energy is cited as the source. It goes on to say that the refusal by neighboring countries “calls into question the implementation of EU legislation”.
