Moscow. April 22. INTERFAX.RU Ex-President of Georgia, a former Governor of the Odessa region of Ukraine, Mikhail Saakashvili said that he had received an offer to become Deputy Prime Minister reform in the Ukrainian government.
“I’m honored to receive the President’s offer to become Zelensky Deputy Prime Minister government of Ukraine for reforms. I also was very informative and helpful conversation with Prime Minister Megalam, during which we discussed all the issues related to my possible job in the government”, — Saakashvili wrote on Facebook on Wednesday afternoon.
“I approach this proposal and your decision with great responsibility, because it is a very difficult time for the country. We have a very difficult period in the economy and in the whole of life in the country. Now more than ever we have to be bold in their decisions and reforms”, — the politician wrote.
Saakashvili Also announced that he would submit to Parliament its programme of urgent changes and its participation in the government of Denis Smugala the specific practices.
“Together with the team of the President I am ready to work with all Patriotic forces in Ukraine’s Parliament and with other political forces in society in order to Ukraine with minimal losses suffered by the current world economic crisis and coped with all the challenges. I hope to be a reliable member of the team and be useful to the people of Ukraine, making a something useful for people,” Saakashvili wrote.
he noted that He also hopes to use his international experience including in relations with international financial organizations, to strengthen the prestige of Ukraine.
