Russian cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin have been on Board docked to the ISS on American spacecraft Crew Dragon. This was reported on the website of the National office for Aeronautics and space research (NASA) of the United States.
"Four of the five members of the expedition MKS-63 today appreciated the comfort on Board docked [to the ISS] Crew of the ship Dragon company SpaceX", – stated in Wednesday on the website of the American space Agency.
According to NASA, Ivanishin and astronaut Douglas Hurley, Robert Behnken and Chris Cassidy during an hour and checked the conditions of being on the ship. In particular, they studied how comfortable place on Board Crew Dragon just four people.
"It was a demonstration of the conditions of being on Crew Dragon on the eve of the mission Crew-1 [to the ISS], which is expected to be implemented later this year," said NASA.
Along with Ivanishin and American astronaut on Board the ISS in the framework of the 63rd expedition employs a Russian cosmonaut Ivan Wagner.
Booster Falcon 9 with a manned spacecraft Crew Dragon was launched to the ISS on may 30 from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral. Crew Dragon docking with the ISS took place on may 31. This is the first in nine years, manned space flight, carried out from US soil on American spacecraft.
