For 2021 planned about three dozen non-military space launches of the Russian programs. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to sources in the industry.
According to the Agency, we are talking only about the launches for civil purposes within the framework of the Federal space program and commercial launches. It is noted that the launches of Russian launch vehicles in 2021 will be carried out from the cosmodrome “Baikonur”, “East”, “Plesetsk” and “Kuru” in French Guiana.
In 2019, Russia has conducted 17 space launches, that became the lowest indicator in the history of modern domestic space. In March 2020 the Russian space Agency has revised the plan of launch due to the suspension of production of some spacecraft of the European countries that planned to launch with the help of Russian carrier rockets.
As REGNUM reported earlier, in December, the General Director of the Russian space Agency, Dmitry Rogozin, said that the main runs of 2021 will be the conclusion of a new module of the International space station “Science” and send to the moon automatic mission “Luna-25”.
