Daytime temperatures in the center of European Russia will drop ten degrees compared to the mid of this week, however, these cold anomalies are waiting for the Urals and some regions of Siberia, told RIA Novosti the scientific Director of the hydrometeorological center Roman Vilfand.
"Now it’s not a common situation, when the anticyclone, which defines the very hot weather in the summer solstice, it is not shifted to the East, as usual, and to the West. Now the axis passes through the land from the Caspian sea to Scandinavia, via Moscow, and on Saturday she shifted to the West", – said the forecaster.
According to Vilfand, this situation will lead to the fact that in the center of the European part of Russia will begin to enter the cold air. As a result, daily temperature will drop to 18-20 degrees, and the nights colder to +10, which is the norm for mid-July.
"Very cold will be in Tomsk, Omsk and Tyumen regions in the Urals: Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg oblasts. There the temperature will be below normal by six degrees. There barely will be closer to the 20 ° C mark and night temperatures 8-9 degrees", – said the scientific head of the hydrometeorological center.
