Russia would not ask the EU to remove introduced in 2014 sanctions in the context of pandemic coronavirus. This was stated on Tuesday the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov in an interview in an online format for the Russian and foreign mass media.
"If the EU will understand that the method [of sanctions] has exhausted itself and abandon the decisions that were taken in 2014, of course, we’ll be ready to reciprocate. But asking to do it [lift the sanctions] we’re not going", – said the head of the Russian foreign Ministry, responding to a question.
