Russia remains the closest partner of Belarus, and the split between the two States to create will not work. So says the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, RIA Novosti reported with reference to her briefing.
“I would Like to stress that Russia is a reliable ally and friend of Belorussia, and the fraternal Belarusian people. Sure that attempts to divide us will fail”, — said the diplomat.
In the same meeting with journalists Zakharova reminded of detainees in Belarus, the Russian citizens: it is said that Moscow hopes that they will soon be able to return to Russia. She also told about the signs of foreign interference in Belarusian crisis and assured the involvement of the Russian state.
