The Russian foreign Ministry has demanded a clear explanation from American colleagues on the situation with Russian students who remain in the US during a pandemic coronavirus. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov in an exclusive interview with first Deputy Director General of TASS Mikhail Gusman.
"We also expect from our American colleagues a clear, detailed explanation", – said the Minister.
He stressed that Russia is not satisfied with the comments of the US Ambassador in Moscow John Sullivan on this topic.
"He said not to worry about someone already came home, someone I didn’t want to leave, someone in the family, someone somewhere else has moved. For us, such explanations are unacceptable," Lavrov said.
