On the occasion of its tenth championship in a row, FC Bayern is releasing a limited special jersey for its members. It sold out extremely quickly, and bidding competitions followed on eBay.
With ten German championships in a row, FC Bayern has written football history. On the occasion of this sporting milestone, the German record champions are now releasing a limited special jersey to pay tribute to this success. The people of Munich announced this in their member newsletter on Saturday.
The special jersey combines the different designs of FC Bayern’s last ten Bundesliga home jerseys. As a symbol of the tenth championship won in a row, the jersey bears the number “X” with the lettering “Mia san mia” in the neck area. The limited special jersey is currently only available for members of FC Bayern.
The limited special jersey, which is available in all sizes and with or without individual flocking, was already sold out after a short time. On Ebay, fans sometimes offered more than 400 euros for the jerseys (original price: 89.95 euros).
It is not yet known whether the Bayern stars will wear the special jersey next season. This is definitely possible, as the Munich team has often played with a custom-made jersey in the past, e.g. with an environmental or Wiesn jersey.
