“Rostelecom” wants to become the operator of the new project “Digital city”, in which offers to develop the Internet of things to manage the Russian municipalities. A similar project, the “Digital region” is already promoting the Ministry, but its execution was recently postponed.”Rostelecom” plans to become the main operator of the new project “Digital city”, the development of which the company is engaged in on the basis of the Fund “SKOLKOVO”, told “Kommersant” a source familiar with the progress of the government digital systems. In a press-service “Rostelecom” comments have not given.
