The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin agreed with the statements of Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov that Russia should go to the budget deficit and to get off "oil dependence".
"[the Vice-Premier Yuri] Borisov right. The USSR became a great power due to industrialization, but not at the expense of monetarism and sale of hydrocarbons. We need to invest in the demand for the products of national industry; to ensure the high-tech industry "long money", including cheap credits and budget funds; active measures of export support; to help to open foreign markets", – Rogozin wrote on Saturday on his Twitter page.
According to him, only the national industry is able to ensure the stability of the economy and create new jobs. A special role in this play and the diversification of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, the head of Roscosmos.
Earlier Borisov, speaking on the platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge "Innoprom online," expressed the opinion that Russia needs to take a risk and go for a deficit budget, for borrowing. He also noted that the country should reduce its dependence on oil prices.
Borisov said that a nationwide program to support the economy in 2020-2021 years will be presented to Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 1, according to him, the measures outlined in this program involve serious investments in different areas of the economy, in support of exports.
