According to Ukrainian sources, more than 20 civilians, including two children and a baby, were killed in a Russian rocket attack on the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia. One of the fatalities is little Lisa. Now the last shots of her go around the world.
Little Lisa was on her way to the speech therapist with her mother. The little blond girl is seen chattering happily as she pushes a pink and black stroller. Her mother shared these last shots of her daughter on her social media.
Just 90 minutes later, the Russian missiles hit. They hit the center of the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia, an office center and a crossroads. Right where little Lisa walked with her mother. The little girl died instantly. There is a picture of it lying on the ground, covered in blood, with the overturned stroller next to it. Her mother survived with serious injuries, one leg was torn off.
On Thursday evening, the Ukrainian army published the last recordings of Lisa that have since been born.
Lisa is one of at least 20 people killed in the Russian missile attack on Vinnytsia. At least 90 others were injured. Among the dead are two children and a baby.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj spoke of an “open act of terrorism”. The federal government also condemned the shelling of Vinnytsia as an “act of cruelty”.
Since invading Ukraine at the end of February, Russia has repeatedly emphasized that it will only attack military targets in the neighboring country – even if the many civilian casualties are now obvious.
