Tickets for long-distance trains will be sold subject to the social distance until 28 may, reported in the JSC “Russian Railways” (RZD).
“For passengers traveling to may 28, inclusive, extend the validity of the temporary Seating chart in carriages of long-distance trains, including high-speed trains “Swallow” “swift” and high-speed trains “Sapsan” the message reads.
Seating of passengers with regard to increased social distance in the compartment, couchette cars and carriages with seats were introduced as a temporary measure in connection with the unfavorable epidemiological situation. In particular, in compartment cars of trains of distant following passengers are not more than two persons in a compartment, in second – class- no more than three in one compartment. These rules do not apply to members of the same family.
In cars with seats in a double row, the passenger takes the window seat, triple – single passenger at the window and one aisle, and the average number remains free.
New Seating chart is used when the travel documents in ticket offices of long-distance, and via the Internet, said the Ministry of Railways.
