Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa al-Kazemi at the initiative of the Iraqi side held a telephone conversation.
Putin repeatedly congratulated al-Kazemi on assuming the office of Prime Minister of Iraq. Policies in the course of conversation expressed his desire to develop friendly relations between States.
In addition, Putin and al-Kazemi discussed cooperation in order to stabilize the world market of hydrocarbons and positively evaluated the agreement in the OPEC+ to overcome the acute phase of the crisis.
Special attention was paid to the Syrian settlement. Policy agreed on further coordination of steps to normalize the situation in the SAR.
