Offer Belarus and Armenia on the introduction in the Eurasian economic Union (EEU), a single tariff for the transit of gas cannot be implemented. As reported TASS, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Today, as reported by the “Rambler”, Putin took part in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian economic Council. In the course of it he noted that Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to support the formula according to which approaches to gas pricing in the EEU could be determined later, but Belarus and Armenia no. They propose to introduce a single tariff for transportation services and transit of gas.
“We believe that a single tariff can be implemented only in a single market with a single budget and a single system of taxation”, — said the Russian leader.
He appreciated the current level of integration in the EEU as not deep enough and opined that the discussion of approaches to pricing of gas can be continued by the experts.
