Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that the students of universities and colleges should be more opportunities to work and make extra money. This opinion he expressed during the meeting about the situation in the field of education in the spread of coronavirus.
“it is essential to expand opportunities for students of universities and colleges to work, get experience, and, not least, additional income,” – said the head of state. He recalled that full-time students are entitled to receive working specialty. “You need to quickly amend the law,” – said the President.
He also appealed to the largest agricultural holdings of the country with the request to organize the summer work of students in the field of agriculture. “I am sure that you will find a reliable, good helpers, and young people can not only earn some money but also to spend time in nature, relax”, – said Putin.
in June must pass a law allowing students in pedagogical and other universities to work in educational institutions, both on a temporary and permanent basis, said the head of state. “And as a first step they could take part this summer in the organization of children’s rest. In principle, it is practiced already, you just have to make it wider,” – said Putin.
Another area where students can benefit the country, is the solution of problems of the digital economy, he said. “We need to offer comfortable, well-paid forms of employment for students of IT and engineering professions,” – concluded the President.
