Russia can claim and rightly claim the title of great powers, thanks to the outstanding people, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Those who are here today in the Kremlin, of course, are the representatives of the various groups, thanks to which Russia can claim, and rightly claim to be called a great power", – Putin said at the ceremony of national awards for outstanding achievements in the field of science and technology, literature and art, and humanitarian activities, charity and human rights protection.
He quoted one of the winners, who spoke about the moral foundations on which life was built for centuries: mutual support, mutual assistance, the unification of efforts in solving common problems.
"I Must say that this is the moral Foundation on which in fact are standing and I think will be Russia. Always. That is by combining efforts, we have always achieved outstanding victories and remarkable results in almost all fields", – Putin said.
The head of state thanked the awardees for their hard work, talent and results of their work.
