Russia is open for dialogue and cooperation with other countries to establish a common reliable system of security, said Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the Victory parade on red square. The parade was attended by leaders of nine countries and partially recognized territories.”Understand the importance of strengthening friendship and trust between peoples, and open to dialogue and cooperation on the most topical issues of the international agenda. Among them — creation of a common reliable system of security which is needed by a complex, rapidly changing modern world”,— said Mr. Putin.The President added that together countries will be able to protect the world from new threats. “We know the face of the challenges facing the planet today are especially keenly feel what is the greatest value of man, his dreams, joy, hope, peace, calm, creative life,” he said.Victory day parade on red square began on Wednesday, June 24, at 10:00. At the end of the parade, Mr Putin thanked the participants, talked with veterans, and then together with the Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu went to the Alexandrovsky garden. There he laid flowers to the Eternal flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.The parade was attended by the leaders of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Serbia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.Festive events, which are held annually in Russia on May 9, was postponed due to the pandemic coronavirus.
