MOSCOW, 20 APR – RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the head of Ministry of health Michael Murashko to prepare a proposal to accelerate permitting administrative and customs procedures for the importation of equipment for the development of vaccines against coronavirus.
the Head of state on Monday holds a meeting on the issue of the sanitary-epidemiological situation in Russia, which is broadcast on the TV channel “Russia 24”. The meeting was attended by experts in the field of combating epidemics, leading scientists-virologists, infectious disease specialists, heads of research centres.
At the meeting, Putin was informed about the approximate terms of creation of a vaccine against the coronavirus, tests of the drug on animals, the amounts that will be required for the organization of production, and the need for refrigeration during transportation.
He added that it was also necessary to prepare proposals which would concern additional funds needed to start production of vaccine against coronavirus. “Prepare your suggestions, synthesize them, and as soon as possible I send,” – said the head of state.
