Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated artistic Director of the State academic Maly theatre of Russia Yuri Solomin its 85th anniversary. The telegram published on Thursday on the Kremlin website.
"for years You faithfully serve art, pleasing to lovers of theatre and cinema deep, interesting acting and directing work. And of course, much thanks to You, Your participation in the famous Maly theater come to life with interesting, creative ideas, supported by a special creative, spiritual atmosphere, which is rightly famous for this legendary scene", – said the President.
Putin wished a Straw success, health and well-being, and congratulated artistic Director with the rank of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation.
Earlier in an interview with TASS Solomin said that he will celebrate the anniversary in a circle of family and friends.
Yuri Solomin was born on 18 Jun 1935 in Chita. People’s artist of USSR (1988), Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation (2020). From 1988 to present Yury Solomin artistic Director of the Maly theatre. In total he played in more than 50 films and television series, including such as "the Adjutant of his Excellency", "Ordinary miracle", "TASS is authorized to declare…" etc. the laureate of the State prize of Russia (2001).
