The Russian President once again thanked the Russian doctors for the work done to combat coronavirus and called them heroes, reports RIA "news".
The politician said that the doctors were able to minimize losses from the coronavirus in the country. In this regard, he intends soon to reward some of them state awards.
Putin stated that the infection has not spared doctors but health workers still showed themselves as real heroes.
"In the midst of serious challenges, you courageously doing their duty," the President added.
In recent days, Russia has identified another 7 889 cases of infection with coronavirus. Total in Russia today recorded 576 952 patients. Since the beginning of the epidemic in the country has recovered from the infection 334 592 people, the number of deaths has risen to 8 002.
