Senator Alexei Pushkov suggested that Russia reaches a plateau in the incidence of coronavirus infections.
“I Guess we’re still a plateau. For five days the number of new detected cases ranges from 5800 to 6400 and a half thousand. The upward trend is small – around 5% per day”, – wrote Pushkov in Twitter.
The Senator suggested that after reaching the plateau in Russia there will be reduced cases of infection — as in Italy and Spain. “But the mortality rate is immeasurably lower,” he added.
We will remind, on Tuesday Russian President Vladimir Putin said that were imposed because of coronavirus non-working days will be extended until may 11 – thus, to holidays added 6, 7 and 8 may. Meanwhile, Putin stressed that the epidemic of coronavirus in Russia has managed to slow down.
