An unknown attacker with a knife on citizens in the Park reading in the evening of 20 June. According to preliminary data, three people died on the spot, two more were seriously injured. Police arrested the attacker, his motive and identity is still unknown. Law enforcement later acknowledged the incident a terrorist attack.
Reading is located 65 kilometers West of London, there are about 350 thousand people. On Saturday, June 20, the city held a peaceful March in support of the Black Lives Matter movement (“black Lives matter”).
