So far, Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland have dominated the summer of transfers in Europe – one because he wants to push through his move with all his might, the other because every club in the world would have liked to sign him. In terms of salaries, however, both are far from the top. A newspaper has now published the real top salaries of the stars.
PSG provides top earners: The Spanish “Marca” publishes a salary list of the top earners in world football. Accordingly, no one pays as much as Paris Saint-Germain, financed from Qatar. The first three places are taken by Kylian Mbappe (1.16 million euros), Lionel Messi (1.13 million euros) and Neymar (703,000 euros) with astronomical weekly salaries.
Short, compact, clear
Bundesliga is left behind: The Bundesliga’s biggest star, Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, has already dropped to 10th place with 406,000 euros a week. And even Erling Haaland, who switched from BVB to Manchester City, earns “only” 435,000 euros in one week – 7th place.
A goalkeeper is also in the top 10: With his new contract with Liverpool FC, Mohamed Salah moves up to fourth place (464,000 euros), ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United and ManCity’s Kevin de Bruyne (446,000 euros each). As the best goalkeeper, ManUnited keeper David de Gea (435,000 euros) shares seventh place with Haaland.
