Chief doctor of the hospital in the capital Kommunarka Denis Protsenko supported the continuation of restrictive measures against coronavirus.
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin the decree has extended holidays for almost 2 weeks. Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin has issued a decree, extending the regime of high alert in the capital until may 11. According to Sobyanin, the current restrictions in the coming days must be observed as closely as possible, their weakening will inevitably lead to even greater number of sick and dying. As noted by the mayor, the Moscow authorities will begin to weaken the measures as soon as the incidence of coronavirus will decline.
"Analyzed 52 deaths tomorrow Subcommission for the study of deaths. Personally, I am for the continuation of quarantine" Protsenko wrote in his account on the social network Facebook.
In accordance to publication schedules, 85% of the primary diagnosis of the deceased was a coronavirus, in 49% of cases died over 70 years, 22% were people aged 61-70 years and 16% aged 51-60 years, 14% were aged 36-50 years.
From 30 March, the regime of isolation has spread to all Moscow residents regardless of age. To leave the apartment is permitted only in cases of emergency medical assistance, travel for work, the trip to the nearest store or pharmacy. Also to get out of the house it is possible to walk a pet and throw away trash.
