the state office of public Prosecutor has made a rating of Russian regions by the level of corruption. This writes RIA “Novosti” with reference to the report of the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov.
According to the Supervisory authority, in 2019, the coefficient of corruption in the country was 21.1 offences per 100 thousand residents. This indicator increased in comparison with the 2018 year (20.8 per offense). The report notes that the level of corruption in General “remained stable in recent years.”
The high level of corruption revealed in Mordovia. Followed by the Republic of Chuvashia, Kamchatka, Arkhangelsk, Bryansk, Magadan, Novgorod, Orenburg, Saratov and Tyumen region. In these regions the coefficient of corruption index ranges from of 29.68 to 26,31.
the Least corruption was the Republic of Ingushetia, Khakassia, Altai Krai, Vologda, Moscow, Penza and Murmansk region, and St.-Petersburg, Sevastopol and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In them the ratio of 6.41 is to 9.94.
most Often corruption-related crimes were committed with the development of the budget, including allocated within the framework of targeted programs, organization of auctions, property management, during the inspections, law enforcement activities, as well as in the housing sector.
