The Minister of justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuska announced the sale of the building of the colony N 51 in the center of Odessa. On this he wrote in Facebook.
In may 2019 during a prison riot in this colony, a fire broke out, resulting in the prison building fell into disrepair.
According to Maluska, the land area is more than 5.9 ha, and area — 282 sq. m. 14
Earlier in Ukraine launched the "big sale prisons". The sale will be put "frozen" colonies and prisons, which left the prisoners. Proceeds will go toward renovating existing facilities. The entire staff sold to agencies will be fired and transferred to a new job.
