The media found out Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle secretly bought a house in Santa Barbara (California, USA) to quietly raise his son Archie after leaving the British Royal family, reports Page Six.
According to the publication, in the mansion they moved in July. In the same area is also home to their friends, TV hosts Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.
"They bought the house themselves, — said the insider. — Here they want to continue their lives after leaving the UK. This is the first property that they ever owned. It was a special time for them as a couple and as a family — while in the six weeks since moving in I managed to keep it a secret".
The source did not disclose other details related to the estate, including its price, security reasons, but added: "They carefully thought about it. In this place they are planning to be happy: make good friends and bring up Archie, giving him the opportunity to play with other children his age".
Earlier media wrote that in the last few months the couple lived in Beverly hills in a luxurious mansion of actor Tyler Perry has 18 bedrooms. According to the insider, and although Prince Harry grew up in the Royal family and in the halls of Buckingham Palace, he prefers "more intimate and cozy home".
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially ceased to perform Royal duties 1st April. In early January he and his wife announced that they want to give up the financial privileges put to them by the status and to earn independently and to divide his time between the UK and North America.
