The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, the TV channel “Russia 24” stated that for two incubation periods during isolation in Russia has considerably decreased the rate of increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
“We were in a state of separation for two incubation periods. Let me remind you that for this virus the incubation period is 14 days… Two of incubation is the minimum that should be. And we during these two incubation significantly reduced the growth rate (morbidity COVID-19)”, — quotes RIA Novosti words Popova.
She noted that if at the beginning the growth rate was 23-30%, now it is 7-8%.
According to her, all restrictions in connection with the spread of coronavirus to preserve the life and health of the older generation in Russia.
Popov added that infected by coronavirus in Russia, 5% are children, 80% are people of working age, 15% of people older than 65 years.
Previously Popov said that Russia has one of the world’s lowest rates of death from coronavirus infection COVID-19.
